Server management
The server is at the heart of many businesses: files, user accounts, business applications and backups all come together there. We plan, install and look after your servers so that they remain clearly documented and easy to maintain.
Typical situations
When this is worth it for you.
Sound familiar? Then get in touch. We look at your situation and make a concrete proposal.
- An old server needs to be replaced or virtualised.
- Permissions and shares have become confusing over the years.
- You want to know the state of your infrastructure before you invest.
Our approach
What we actually do for you.
Windows servers
Setup and support of file servers, user and permission management, and server services for business applications.
Linux systems
Installation and administration of Linux servers for infrastructure services, web applications and internal tools.
Server administration
Ongoing care, updates, permission management and capacity planning so that the server grows with your business.
Virtualised servers
Where needed, servers run as virtual machines, for example on Proxmox VE. Details under virtualisation & Proxmox.
Server maintenance: what happens regularly
A server often runs in the background for years until something goes wrong. Regular maintenance means installing updates, checking free capacity and drive health, evaluating warnings in the logs and making sure that the backup runs completely. With monitoring, many of these points are noticed before they disrupt your working day.
Windows and Linux
Windows servers are used for user accounts, file shares and many business applications; see Microsoft environments. Linux is well suited to infrastructure services, web applications and internal tools. We support both and choose what makes sense for each task.
Your benefits
Advantages for your business.
Stable operation
Planned updates and regular checks reduce unplanned outages.
Clear permissions
Who may access what is organised, documented and easy to adjust.
Predictable growth
Capacity is kept in view so that expansions are not made under time pressure.
Independently documented
Structure and access are recorded so that your environment does not depend on a single person.
Approach
How we work.
- 01
Analysis
Which services run on which server, how old is the hardware, how is it backed up?
- 02
Planning
A target setup covering hardware, virtualisation, permissions and backup, aligned with your budget.
- 03
Implementation
Setup or migration with as little interruption as possible, in a time window agreed in advance.
- 04
Operation
Server maintenance, updates and monitoring so that the server runs reliably over the long term.
Already a client with an issue?
The fastest way to report technical problems is a support ticket. Nothing gets lost and you can see the processing status.
FAQ
Good to know.
What does server maintenance include?
Updates of the operating system and server services, checks of disk space, drive health and event logs, backup checks, and care of user accounts and permissions. The exact scope is defined before maintenance begins.
Why virtualise with Proxmox?
With Proxmox, several servers run as virtual machines on one piece of hardware. They can be backed up and restored as a whole and moved more easily when hardware is replaced. Proxmox is open source; optional paid support subscriptions from the vendor are available for businesses.
Can you replace our old server without a long downtime?
Usually, yes. We prepare the new server, transfer the data and switch over in an agreed time window. How long the changeover takes depends on the amount of data and the applications and is discussed in advance.

Often a good fit.
Let’s talk about your IT.
An initial conversation is non-binding. We listen, look at your situation and tell you honestly what makes sense.
